My journey into the animal world began in 2011. Since I was young, I always had a passion for animals grew, I knew I wanted to turn my passion into a profession. Since I never worked in the animal field, I decided during the end of my senior year in high school that it was time to work with animals in a veterinary setting. In November 2011, I was pleased to be hired at New Berlin Animal Hospital as a Veterinary Assistant. I have learned something new in every experience and appreciate every opportunity that comes my way. I can actually say that I love my job and enjoy coming to work every day. You may even find me there on my days off! Currently, I am working part time while attending UW-Milwaukee for my undergrad classes, with the hopes of getting into University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine.

I may be a little bit of a workaholic, but I do have some hobbies outside of work. I enjoy avery active lifestyle: fishing, boating, wake-boarding, snowmobiling, four wheeling, and slowly (with the help of my boyfriend), shooting and archery. I have a wonderful boyfriend of 3 years named Ethan. He shares my love for animals and we own a few pets of our own. We adopted Kye, a shepherd mix, from Elmbrook Humane Society when he was eight weeks old. He is a big part of our lives and has brought us tremendous joy. We also own two leopard geckos and an african fat-tailed gecko, which has sparked some interest into the exotic world for me.

I may not know what the future holds for me, but with the help of NBAH & the amazing interactions with our clients and their families (pets), I found the encouragement and determination to follow my dreams.
