I attended Madison Area Technical College for Veterinary Technician and graduated in 2007. Shortly after, I took my state board’s exam and was certified.

I came to know New Berlin Animal Hospital by completing my small animal internship in the summer of 2006. I became employed on occasional weekends starting in January 2007 and became a full time CVT in July 2007 after becoming certified. I am a member of the local and national associations for certified veterinary technicians which allows me to stay up to date on the latest happenings in the veterinary profession.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and make frequent visits to our cabin up north. We spend most of our time fishing, bike riding and kayaking with our son. We also enjoy visiting extended family in the area. We have a huge garden filled with both vegetables and flowers. We are looking forward to setting up our bee hives this summer. My pet family includes a great dane named George, four urban chickens (my city chicks), that I find fascinating to watch when they scratch for bugs and my sons bearded dragon named Ninja. I also have a salt water fish tank that I have had for many years.
